L.A. Honda World Racing to Participate in TC America Blancpain GT World Challenge
The LA Honda World Race Team, fresh off a victory in Daytona, will be competing in the TC America Blancpain GT World Challenge March 1-3rd, 2019.
The New TC America creates a unique and exclusive brand identity for the popular touring car classes. LA Honda World will be entering the IMSA-numbered #52 Yellow Honda TCR Type R driven by Harry Cheung. In the TC America Blancpain GT World Challenge, the vehicle will carry the number #14.
Building on a 1,2 podium finish at Daytona in the TCR Class, the team carries momentum into the March 1-3rd race at the Circuit of the Americas looking for more podium finishes.
TC America provides some very exciting touring car racing in the country with non-stop action throughout 40 minute sprint races.
Circuit of the Americas is a world class destination for motorsports in the United States. Set on 1,500 acres in the rolling hills just outside downtown Austin, TX, Circuit of the Americas is a 20 turn, counterclockwise circuit which includes a 133 foot hill at Turn 1.
Team Principle Mario Biundo states, “Bringing home the trophies from Daytona in our first race of the season was tremendous and we greatly anticipate a hard fought race at COTA, one of the most exciting tracks in the United States”.
